This beautiful backyard in charming East Fremantle was designed with the clients’ lifestyle in mind and is a great example of what can be achieved with some clever design specifications at a reasonable budget.  

The centrepiece of the outdoor space is a paved circle of crazy paving with crepe myrtles and a sculptural planting palette that integrates the outdoor space with the central entertaining area. This unique feature also provides privacy and light for the adjacent bedrooms without disconnecting and confining the space. 

The garden was designed and construction managed by ALA while the clients were stuck overseas, all communication was done remotely. The project team ensured construction would be completed and ready for the big reveal upon their return to Perth, safe in the knowledge that the young family could relax and enjoy their new garden during their isolation period. A very satisfying feel-good project!
